This experimental project is a continuation of my past work in a technique that I have been developing for 10 years. This time I decided to create portraits of some of my favorite musical artists. In these portraits, I used a variety of liquids, such as ink, oil and water, to create stunning and unique patterns that are then captured and immortalized in a photograph and 8K video. The process of creating a fluid portraits is challenging. The nature of liquids is unpredictable and requires multiple attempts to achieve the desired result. This is meditative and exciting process, as the liquids move and blend in unexpected ways. I captured every steps of forming portraits using a camera, to capture the intricate details of the fluid patterns. The resulting photographs are a stunning and unique representation of the fluid dynamics captured in the portraits.
